Commercial Drive
The 21 blocks of Commercial Drive from Venables at north end, to 13th Avenue at the south, over a mile long, are home to the most eclectic mix of businesses in the city. Of the more than 400 businesses on the Drive, the majority are single location, owner-operated. The neighbourhood of Commercial Drive is in the east end of the city, a short ten minutes by Skytrain from downtown Vancouver. Authentic Italian coffee bars, fine dining, live music and theatre, art exhibits, and unique shopping, attracts visitors from all over.

For Croatian Cultural Centre, 3250 Commercial Drive -
The nearest Skytrain station is about 6 blocks away at Commercial Drive and Broadway and both the Millennium Line and the Expo Line stop at this station. You can transfer to a bus using the same ticket to get nearer to the Croatian Centre. The #20 bus goes by and the nearest stop is Commercial at East 14th.
For Tango a Media Luz, 2155 Commercial Drive -
The nearest Skytrain station is about 2 blocks away at Commercial Drive and Broadway and both the Millennium Line and the Expo Line stop at this station. Buses that run near by are too numerous to mention. The Skytrain stops running around 1 am but there is a late night bus "N2"0 which runs along Commercial Drive.

The Days Inn is situated within a 15 – 20 minute walk to the Croatian Cultural Center. The rooms surround a quiet central garden. The rate includes breakfast, parking, WIFI and fridge in room. The YWCA Hotel is situated in downtown Vancouver just 1 block from the Stadium – Chinatown Skytrain station where you can travel direct to the Commercial Skytrain station just a few blocks from the Croatian Cultural Center. Festival Consession:There will be a concession stand right at the Croatian Hall so you can get a coffee or juice and a sandwich or cookie between classes without having to leave the building. There will also be a bar and snacks available at the Grand Ball on Saturday evening.
Vancouver is a cosmopolitan city with restaurants featuring cuisine from countries all over the world. Vancouver’s Chinese restaurants especially are considered by many to be the best in North America and provide food from all the different regions of China.
